dotgit.dev is a free educational site. You can read every lesson and use the terminal playground without creating an account, and no personal information is required to use the site.

What we collect

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand aggregate page usage, such as which lessons are most visited. This is loaded only after a page becomes interactive and does not include personal identifiers.
• Hosting logs. Cloudflare Pages, our hosting provider, processes standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested URL) as part of normal web serving and security.
• Theme preference. Your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser only and is never sent to us.

Cookies

We do not set cookies for site functionality. Third-party analytics and hosting services may set cookies or similar technologies; please see Google Analytics and Cloudflare's privacy policies for details.

Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above to operate and measure the site.
